An old saying is usually the most valid truth one can hold. “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” is one of those often repeated sayings. There are times when joining is the best course of action. The decision to join must be made with careful consideration. Once the decision is made, it must be put into action with the same determination one may have used to reach the decision. In the presidential election of 2008, America handed our freedom and sovereignty to the Socialists who have imposed their desires to rule rather than govern. Many changes have been brought about – none of them to the benefit of the people of the United States. Many Conservative voices have joined together into various groups in an attempt to repel these attacks on the very structure of the American Constitution. The successes attained by these groups have been negligible to everyone but those of us who have been involved. It is time for the people to regain the foothold on American society that our forefathers left in our hands. This effort will require only one of the attributes for which Americans are well-known and respected – volunteerism. This is the very reason I feel so drawn to the Conservative Party. I see, in this group of Americans, the three-legged stool of Conservatism more so than anywhere else. It is this platform that I have chosen to promote my personal values as well as my political values. Texas is unique in that we hold our liberty, freedom, and independence in the mere mention of the name of our state. The word TEXAS says it all for us. With each time we say the word, we are paying homage to those patriots and defenders of the Alamo, those who fought bravely and successfully at San Jacinto, and the men whose dream of the greatness of Texas we honor and celebrate by the pride we feel in our state. You know that same pride shared by the millions of Texans whether native-born or transplanted. That is why I am asking you to remember the Alamo and stand once more for Texas. The Conservative Party USA (http://www.conservativepartyusa.com/ ) is built on absolute conservative values. Texas needs a state leader for the Conservative Party USA – Texas. This leader is a volunteer with the Texas values we all hold so dear. The requirements are simple. Texas needs a leader-volunteer to address the long-term needs of volunteerism. We need your talents to perform some simple tasks on behalf of Texans who share these Conservative Values. This is not a full-time position nor is it a spare-time position – it is a volunteer position working on behalf of Texans who support the “three-legged stool of Conservatism.” It will require from 1 – 15 hours weekly, week after week, and can be done from home – no office required. Tasks would include moderating the Texas blog, promoting conservative ideals through the Conservative Party USA – Texas website, (http://conservativepartytx.org/ ) Facebook, and Twitter. This leader-volunteer will manage the Texas mail list and be responsible for distributing the information each interested Texan needs in order to take the action necessary to restore our Conservative values both state-wide and nation-wide. You will not be in this effort by yourself. The National leaders will assist you in whatever ways necessary, and then, of course, people like me. I will help you. Other conservative, freedom loving Texans will help as well. We need your organizational skills to grow our party in Texas. Through our efforts, Texas values will again reach the forefront of our political outreach in Texas as we find, support and elect our own candidates for public office within our state as well as on a national level. The time has come for true Conservatives and like-minded Independents to secede from their respective parties and join the Conservative Party of the United States.
The Republican Party has consistently failed to uphold conservative principles on so many levels since Ronald Reagan that it can no longer be considered a legitimate representative of traditional American conservative values. That is especially true for Texas Republicans. The Conservative Party of Texas rectifies that shortcoming.

The Mission of the Conservative Party is to promote and protect individual rights and freedoms set forth in the U.S. Constitution and to limit the scope of government to the authority set forth therein. The Party will preserve the core principles on which this nation was founded as described in the founding documents of the United States.
To accomplish its Mission, the Conservative Party provides true conservatives a strong political support base that empowers them to formulate genuine conservative agendas and to articulate those views to the American people without reservation. The Party then creates the political environment that will encourage its members to run for elected office in the Texas State Legislature and the U.S. Congress.
It is time to “Come Home America.”
